Found comfort in a broken home
And I dont think ill ever find the strength to let go
And I dont want to do this on my own, but its not getting any better
if time flies
faster than we know we can keep up with
tonight will probably be the last one
close your eyes
tell me something that i can hold onto
cause i dont think ill make it without you tonight
cause i felt like for once i would hear you say
we could turn it around
but its not over
so dont let me go and forget your face
we can figure it out but its not over
cause i felt like for once i would hear you say
we could figure it around
but its not over
so dont let me go and forget your face
we can figure it out but its not over
the calm before the storm came so quick
left silence in my chest
why is it so hard to tell if im breathing
suffocating from
time it helps us
so whyd we fall apart again, apart again
if time flies
faster than we know we can keep up with
tonight will probably be the last one
close your eyes
tell me something that i can hold onto
because i dont think ill make it without you tonight
I let you take a part of me
And that I cant believe
Is it so hard to say sorry for everything
Its getting hard for me to breathe
But I hope that you feel alive
And I guess that this will make sense over time
I tried
Im sorry
Time flies
No warning
But I hope you feel alive
And ill bring you back in time
I hope you feel alive
I hope you feel alive

Romance of Affliction somehow makes an old genre feel brand new. Amazing. I would have swore this album was from 2005 if I didn't see with my own eyes it wasn't. SYSC takes everything good about mid-00s metalcore and brings it into the modern day, leaving behind the trash. It's a pure distillation of the genre with brilliant structure, pacing, and lyrics. The album ebbs and flows, letting emotions swell before punching in with some of the most intense passages I've heard in a while. rettisawesome
